The DSX Tuning Aux Pump Kit is the original, cost-effective solution for increasing fuel supply without needing to open the factory fuel tank. It taps into the tank externally and uses an add-on pump that reconnects into the stock feed line. Because it works with the factory fuel pressure control module, the ECM always knows fuel pressure—even when the auxiliary pump engages to deliver a major increase in flow and pressure.
At the core of the C7 setup is DSX Tuning’s proprietary plug-and-play CAN-based controller. There’s no tapping vacuum lines and no Hobbs switch needed—the controller uses CAN data from the parking brake jumper to activate the pump. The harness is simple to install, requiring minimal connections so the user avoids complex wiring. The pump turns on whenever the ECM calls for 500kPa or more, and it features a soft-start function to prevent sudden pressure spikes.
A built-in priming/purge mode lets you key the car on (without starting it) and press the gas pedal to run the pump proportionally—perfect for draining fuel or clearing lines. The controller also shuts down the pump driver anytime the parking brake is engaging or releasing to protect factory wiring. With solid-state electronics, there are no fuses, relays, or mechanical switches that can fail from vibration or arcing—unlike traditional Hobbs-style setups. All wiring stays contained within the rear driver-side fender, so nothing needs to be routed from the engine bay. This is the most advanced controller available, giving tuners precise pump control by adjusting ECM fuel pressure modes.
The kit includes PTFE-lined, smooth-bore, crimped fuel lines for lifetime ethanol resistance, zero odor permeation, and leak-free durability. Each line is pressure-tested, ensuring top-tier quality. The lines are 8AN internally with 6AN fittings, maintaining full flow unlike typical 6AN hoses that choke down internally. DSX avoids cheap push-lock, screw-together, or generic braided lines—every component is purpose-built. The system uses a custom 74-micron stainless pre-filter designed specifically for these pumps, and the one-piece billet tee fitting is a true push-connect built exclusively for this application. No plastic clips, no loose backing nuts—just a secure stainless retaining clip for reliable, long-term performance.
