For critical system protection, it is highly recommended to pair this switch with a safety relief valve on the air tank; in the event of a pressure switch failure, the safety valve will blast off to release excess air, serving as an audible alert to immediately cut power to the compressor to prevent it from burning out before replacing the switch.
