LS engine swap guys- Roto-fab now has a cold air intake specifically for your first gen Camaro! Now you can claim the extra horsepower gained with a well-designed cold air intake system that looks great and fits your car as it should. Thousands of 5th generation Camaro SS and Camaro ZL1 owners have installed Roto-fab cold air intake systems due to the performance, sound, appearance and reliability. It only makes sense to put your trust in a company which already has experience and expertise with the LS powered cars. Check out the benefits of our first generation Camaro cold air intake system:

    • 6061 aluminum duct work in texture black (4 inch OD)
    • High gloss black powder coated aluminum air box which uses existing mounting points
    • High gloss black powder coated air box lid with sight window and half turn fasteners
    • 100 percent high gloss silicone couplers
    • Lifetime serviceable air filter
    • Does not include MAF sensor mounting block

The Roto-fab cold air intake system for the first generation Camaro installs without drilling or modifying your car. The air box uses two existing bolt holes in the core support to anchor the front. For the rear we supply a longer bolt for your inner fender which, once installed, extends upwards to create a stud which is engaged by our rear mounting bracket. We use a 4 inch 90 degree elbow from the hump hose to the throttle body which provides the flexibility for small variations in motor location by adjusting the engagement in the silicone couplers. The air box face as well as the polycarbonate insert have a surface parallel to the factory diagonal support brace which further customizes this system to your first generation Camaro. Hand crafted in the USA.
This system includes a high gloss black powder coat finish on the air box and lid and a texture black powder coat finish on the duct work and no MAF sensor mounting block. The MAF sensor block we use accepts the card style (also referred to as blade style) GM MAF sensor.
